My Norwegian grandmother used to say:
Spring has sprung,
the grass has ris,
I wonder where,
the birdies is.
Spring has sprung, indeed, and is springing. I'm sure you've noticed the green over-taking the gray? The crocus, daffodils, hyacynths? And my favorite, the blushing clouds of Magnolia blossoms growing larger and puffier by the minute, preparing to burst forth in a pink petal rain. Next month we'll be going to Harkness to drink in some of this lovely creation. We'll eat, fellowship, and disperse for individual artistic pursuits (writing under a tree, strumming a guitar while perched on a seaside rock, or capturing that osprey or sunset with your digital camera.) We've done this twice and had a wonderful time. If you need information, contact Bill Pratt or me, Janet Rubin, and we'll give you the skinny. Here are the dates: Thursday, May 15th (rain date of the 22nd).
